Her father, Joshua Ndon Snr, a seasoned traveler and entrepreneur, embarked on journeys to Abuja, Nigeria, where the Hausa traders, affectionately known as "Aboki's," offered a delectable treat called "Kilishi,"- the spicy Nigerian Beef Jerky. The term "Aboki" carries the warm connotation of "friend" in Hausa, thus inspiring the name for her business, "Aboki Bee," where "Aboki" represents 'friend' and 'Bee' is short for Blessing. With each visit, her father would acquire this savory Jerky, bringing it back as a cherished Memento. For Blessing, this exotic delight became a symbol of love and a connection to her cultural roots.
As Blessing grew into adulthood, her affection for premium, flavorful jerky remained steadfast. Today, it is our distinct pleasure to extend that nostalgic taste from her cherished childhood to you.
